MYSORE WEEK AND WEEKEND SEMINAR
We are extremely honored to welcome for the first time one of the most exciting Ashtanga Yoga teachers of today, the KPJAYI Level-2 Authorized David Robson. David has devoted almost two decades to the practice of Ashtanga Yoga, and is known for leading one of the world’s largest Mysore programs in his home town of Toronto, Canada.
This week-long immersion is ideal for Ashtanga Yoga teachers, those on the path of becoming Ashtanga Yoga teachers, as well as practitioners who want to take their practice to a deeper physical, mental and spiritual levels.
If you practice or teach Ashtanga Yoga or want to learn more about it, this is a wonderful opportunity to spend one full week stepping deep into this beautiful tradition. With daily morning Mysore-style self-practice safely guided by David; traditional Sanskrit counted Primary Series class; technique and posture workshops for Primary and Intermediate series, and much more, each student regardless of their experience, will be able to deepen and enrich their practice.
David Robson is a practitioner and teacher of Ashtanga Yoga, in the tradition of KPJAYI. David is the director of the Ashtanga Yoga Centre of Toronto, where he leads one of the world’s largest Mysore programs outside of India.
David began a daily practice in 1998 while at university studying Comparative Religion. After graduating, David made his first trip to Mysore, India in 2002, where he initiated studies with his teacher Sharath Jois. Since then he has returned to Mysore annually to deepen and enrich his practice and teaching.
In 2007, David was Authorized to teach Ashtanga.
David teaches workshops and retreats around the world. He has also released an influential series of instructional videos on Ashtanga called Learn To Float.
May 11 - 13 (Fri-Sun) - SEMINAR WEEKEND
The weekend will include 4 seminars on different topics, covering vinyasa, backbends, handstands and some intro to Second series, a Full ed Primary series and a Mysore class.
May14 - 18 (Mon-Fri)
Morning Mysore classes in small groups of 15-16 people
